Our Projects

School Vision Screenings

The Foundation carries out free school screening across New Zealand. It targets schools in low decile areas. Post screening it arranges comprehensive optometric eye examinations within the local area, alongside the provision of corrective spectacles. In August 2016 Massey University’s Institute of Education partnered with the Foundation to begin a research project on the impact of the provision of corrective lenses on learning, behaviour and social outcomes of students.

To get involved with the EVF, you can either volunteer your time or donate generously.
